Convention
on the Rights of the Child (CRC)
The
CRC is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history.

Optional
protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the
involvement of children in armed conflict and on the sale of children,
child prostitution and child pornography
The General
Assembly adopted by consensus the draft resolution recommended
by the ECOSOC (A/54/L.84), and thus, the two optional protocols
to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement
of children in armed conflict and on the sale of children, child
prostitution and child pornography.
Convention
on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women
(CEDAW)
CEDAW
is an international bill of rights for women, which went into
force in 1981 and has been ratified by 163 countries.
European
Convention on the Exercise of Children's Rights
Signed
by Turkey in 1999 and to be applied to cases relating to divorce,
separation, the custody of children, parental rights af access
to the child and establishment of parental affilition by means
of judicial decision.

- Riyadh Guidelines
These
guidelines provide a comprehensive, pro-active approach to juvenile
delinquency.

Nations Rules for the protection of juveniles deprived of their
liberty
These
rules apply to the deprivation of liberty based on the child's
health and welfare.

Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Administration of Juvenile
Justice - Beijing Rules
These
rules aim to provide guidance to States for the protection of
children's rights and respect for their needs in the development
of separate and specialised systems of juvenile justice.
The
Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Co-operation
in Respect of Intercountry Adoption
The
Convention aims to establish co-operation between countries involved
in international adoption.
ILO
Convention 138 concerning the Minimum Age for Admission to Employment
Convention
138 covers all work or employment, paid or unpaid and not only
establishes a minimum age for employment, it also addresses policy
aimed at the elimination of child labour and progressive increase
of minimum age for work.
