WASTE STATISTICS SURVEY
2000-2002

has applied annual survey to the organized industrial regions which
have completed their infrastructure in order to determine the
effect of the organized industrial regions to the environment in the
scope of the environmental statistics. Organized industrial region
waste survey has been applied to 70 organized industrial regions
between 2000-2002. In the scope of this survey, data on the amount of
water supplied by resources, amount of wastewater discharged by type of
receiving bodies and status of wastewater treatment, type of the
wastewater treatment plants and amount of wastewater treated, status of
the discharge licence and amount of the sludge generated by the
treatment plants were collected.
