A general evaluation has been made on the view of establishments for the present situation in December  of
2003  and  expectation  in  January  of  2004  regarding  production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;

            When the weighted average view of the establishments for December of  2003 compared  to the same month
of the previous year, establishments  have  thought  that  their production increased and domestic sales decreased, sale prices and raw material prices increased.

            When  the  weighted average expectation of  the same establishments for  January of  2004 compared  to the
same month of the previous year  establishments have thought that  their production  and  domestic  sales will  increase,
sale prices will decrease and raw material  prices will not change.
