| According to the primarily provisional results of 2351
establishment replied to the quarterly manufacturing industry tendency
survey, rate of capacity utilisation that is weighted by production value,
increased from 74.9 % in the fourth quarter of 2002 to 79.7 % in the fourth
quarter of 2003. |

while financial problems decreased from 4.2 % to |

| 4.1 %. |

previous year, establishments have thought
that their production and domestic sales will
decrease, sale prices and raw material prices will decrease. |

decrease was observed in Manufacture of
tobacco products with 10.4 % . |

In the fourth quarter of 2003,
comparing to the data weighted by production value by main sectors, |

| the highest increase determined for domestic sales was recorded
in business establishments especially, in Manufacture of motor
vehicles, traliers and semi - trailers with 94.9 % and in
Manufacture of electrical machinery and
apparatus n.e.c with 76.8 % .Moreover the highest decrease was observed in Manufacture |
|
| of
coke, refined petroleum products with 11.8
%. |

In the fourth quarter of 2003, comparing to the data weighted by production value by main
sectors, the highest increase determined for sales
prices was recorded in business establishments
especially, in Manufacture |
|
| of basic metals and in
Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers
with 82.8 % and 68.6 % respectively.
Moreover the highest decrease was observed in Manufacture of tobacco products
with 2.1 % . |

In the fourth quarter of 2003,
comparing to the data weighted by production value by main sectors, the
highest increase determined for raw
material prices was recorded in
business establishments especially, in
Manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and in Manufacture
of machinery and equipment n.e.c with 87.6 % and 78.6 % respectively.
Moreover the highest decrease was
observed in Manufacture of other transport equipment with 9.6 %. |
