4. Schedule and Costs

The cost and approximate scheduling of events during the implementation phase are summarized for the eleven major projects in Tables 1 and 2. Costs were further stratified into five categories:

General training will focus on survey methodology, survey re-engineering, management in a statistical organization environment, and similar areas which are typically not available in the private sector, but can be procured by agreement with other offices at non-commercial rates.

Table 1 below gives a summary of project cost estimates, summarized according to the above categories.

(*) The above cost estimates are based on the detailed estimates of cost items of the project. These details are kept confidential for the time being in view of the fact that this report will be a part of the final bidding document.

The scheduling of the projects should follow the approximate time table shown in Table 2..
