THE STATE INSTITUTE OF STATISTICS HAS RELEASED
THE FOREIGN TRADE INDICES BASED ON 1994
AUGUST 1997.
In the first eight months of 1997 compared with the previous period, export and import quantity
indices increased 15.9% and 31.7%, respectively. In the same period, export and import price indices
decreased 5.5% and 6.9%, respectively.
