According to the official statement made by State Institute of Statistics, Gross National Product figure for the third quarter of 1997 is "9 904 011 745 Million Turkish Liras in current prices" and it is " 36 591 513 Million Turkish Liras in real terms". The real growth rate is 5.6%, while current growth rate is 100.0%.
Gross National Product for nine month of 1997 is "20 050 462 531 Million Turkish Liras in current prices and 84 707 392 Million Turkish Liras in 1987 constant prices. Current growth rate is 90,7% whereas it is 7,1% in 1987 constant prices, the current growth rate is 97.0% and the real growth rate is 6.2%.
