According to official statement made by State Institute of Statistics, Gross National Product figure for the third quarter of 1998 is "17 482 936 Billion Turkish Liras in current prices"  and it is "38 347 Billion Turkish Liras in real terms". The real growth rate is 1.9%, while current growth 76.8%.
