According to official statement made by State Institute of Statistics, Gross National Product figures for the fourth quarter of 2000 is “ 37 100 736 Billion Turkish Liras in current prices” and it is “29 411 Billion Turkish Liras in real terms”. The real growth rate is 7.6%, while current growth 57.5%.
Annual Gross National Product of 2000 is “125 970 544 Billion Turkish Liras in current prices and 118 916 Billion Turkish Liras in 1987 constant prices”. Current growth rate is 60.9%, whereas it is 6.1% in 1987 constant prices.
I- Quarterly growth rate of sectors in the first, second, third and fourth quarters of 2000 compared to the same quarter of previous year.
II- Growth rate of expenditure groups, compared to the same quarter of previous year, in first, second, third and fourth quarters of 2000.
