RELEASED THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT ESTIMATES FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND ANNUAL OF 1999 AND THE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT ESTIMATES BY EXPENDITURE APPROACH FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND ANNUAL OF 1999 |
According to official statement made by State Institute of Statistics,
Gross National Product
figures for the fourth quarter of 1999 is “ 23 698 141 Billion
Turkish Liras in current prices”
and it is “26 989 Billion Turkish Liras in real terms”. The real growth
rate is –6.1%, while current
growth 48.5%.
Annual Gross National Product of 1999 is “78 242 496 Billion Turkish
Liras in current prices
and 111 684 Billion Turkish Liras in 1987 constant prices”. Current
growth rate is 46.2%,
whereas it is –6.4% in 1987 constant prices.
I- Quarterly growth rate of sectors in the first, second, third and
fourth quarters of 1999
compared to the same quarter of previous year.
II- Growth rate of expenditure groups, compared to the same quarter
of previous year,
in first, second, third and fourth quarters of 1998.
