STATE INSTITUTE OF STATISTICSANNOUNCED THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT ESTIMATES FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND ANNUAL OF 1998 AND THE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT ESTIMATES BY EXPENDITURE APPROACH FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND ANNUAL OF 1998

     According to official statement made by State Institute of Statistics, Gross National Product figure for the fourth quarter of 1998 was "15 875 895 Billion Turkish Liras in current prices"  and it was "28 785 Billion Turkish Liras in constant prices". The real growth rate was 0.7%, while current growth 68.8%.

I- Growth rate of sectors in the first, the second, the third and the fourth quarters and annual of 1998  compared to the previous year.

II- Growth rate of expenditure groups, compared to the same quarters annual of previous year in  1998.
