During 1995, "Equipment Park in Manufacturing Industry for the year 1994" was conducted. The survey covered textile industry (321), cloth manufacturing excluding natural leather and fur (3222), and machinery industry (38).

Based on the responses received from 1339 establishments, 36.8 % of the equipment in textile industry, and 25.5 % of the equipment in machinery industry was determined to be less than five years old.

The survey has also covered the employment structure. The average age of the employees in the textile industry was determined to be 30 (thirty) with an average working period in the establishment of 7 (seven) years. The figures for machinery industry were determined to be 32 (thirty two) and 8 (eight) years, respectively.
