SALES, STOCKS AND PRICES FOR THE REALISATION
IN OCTOBER OF 2001 AND EXPECTATION IN NOVEMBER
OF 2001

ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILISATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, DECREASED FROM 81.3 % IN OCTOBER OF 2000 TO 74.6 % IN OCTOBER OF 2001, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 746 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;

At the evaluation;
When the weighted average view of the establishments for October of 2001 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales decreased, sale prices and raw material prices increased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for November of 2001 compare to the same month of the previous year establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales will decreased, sale prices and raw material prices will increased.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 55.7
% and decreasing was 22.5 % in October of 2000, in
October of 2001 answer of increasing is
47.9 % and decreasing is 35.3 %.
While answer of increasing expectation was 25.7 % and decreasing expectation was 22.3 % in November of 2000, in November of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 32.7 % and decreasing expectation is 36.2 %.
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 42.4 % and decreasing was 38.6 % in October of 2000, in October of 2001 answer of increasing is 38.2 % and decreasing is 43.3 %.
While answer of increasing expectation was 37.4 % and decreasing expectation was 27.6 % in November of 2000, in November of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 30.9 % and decreasing expectation is 38.8 %.
Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;
While answer of increasing was 57.7 % and decreasing was 5.1 % in October of 2000, in October of 2001, answer of increasing is 61.0 % and decreasing is 11.5 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 39.6 %, decreasing expectation was 4.2 % in November of 2000, in November of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 42.2 % and decreasing expectation is 9.1 %.
Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;
While answer of increasing was 58.9 % and decreasing was 8.3 % in October of 2000, in October of 2001, answer of increasing is 56.4 % and decreasing is 18.3 %.
While answer of increasing expectation was 59.4 %, decreasing expectation was 0.2 % in November of 2000, in November of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 52.7 % and decreasing expectation is 7.7 %.
