EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT                        VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT PRODUCTION,        SALES,  STOCKS  AND PRICES  FOR  THE  RELATION  IN  OCTOBER OF  2000 AND         EXPECTATION    IN  NOVEMBER  OF  2000
(Production  -  Sales  -  Prices)



         ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY   UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM  71.3 % IN OCTOBER OF 1999 TO 81.9 % IN OCTOBER OF 2000, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 583 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;



             A  general  evaluation  has done  in  the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in October  of  2000, expectation in  November  of  2000 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
 
 

At the evaluation;
       When the weighted average view of the establishments for October  of  2000 compare to the same month of the  previous year,  establishments  have  thought  that  their  production  increased,  domestic  sales,  sale  prices  and  raw  material  prices decreased.

        When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for  November of  2000 compare to the same month of  the  previous  year  establishments  have  thought that their production and domestic sales will increase, sale prices and raw material  prices  will decrease.

    Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of  increasing was  56.5  % and decreasing  was 25.7 % in October of 1999, in October of 2000  answer  of  increasing  is  58.2  %  and  decreasing  is  19.4  %

While  answer of  increasing  expectation  was  37.3  %  and  decreasing  expectation was 25.0 % in November of 1999, in      November of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 25.1  % and decreasing expectation is 21.0 %

    Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of  increasing was 43.4 % and decreasing was 39.6 % in October  of  1999,  in  October  of  2000  answer  of  increasing  is  42.7  %  and  decreasing  is  38.8 %

While  answer of  increasing  expectation  was 38.7  %  and  decreasing  expectation  was 18.6 %  in  November  of 1999, in November  of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 38.6 % and decreasing expectation is 28.2  %

    Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While  answer  of  increasing  was 62.1 % and decreasing was  0.5  %  in October  of 1999, in October  of  2000, answer  of  increasing is  61.6  %  and  decreasing  is  4.3  %

While   answer  of   increasing  expectation  was  49.2  %, decreasing  expectation   was  2.3  %  in  November  of   1999, in November   of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 40.7  % and decreasing expectation is 4.2  %

    Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing  was  72.4  % and decreasing was  0.8 %  in October  of 1999,  in October  of  2000, answer  of  increasing  is  62.8  %  and  decreasing  is  8.2  %.

While answer of increasing  expectation was 59.2  %, decreasing expectation  was  not  in November  of  1999, in November  of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 63.0 % and decreasing expectation  is  0.2 %
