ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONAL RESULTS OF MONTHLY MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY TENDENCY SURVEY COMPILED FROM 535 ESTABLISHMENTS, THE PRODUCTION WEIGHTED CAPACITY UTILIZATION HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO BE 75.8 % IN NOVEMBER 1996. THE FIGURE WAS 79.4 % IN THE SAME MONTH OF PREVIOUS YEAR.
The reasons for inability to full capacity utilization are:

26.2 % of the establishments stated an increase while the 54.4 % stated a decrease of production in November 1996. The figures in November 1995 were 36.4 %, and 42.4 %, respectively.
30.3 % of the establishments expect an increase, while 33.8 % expect a decrease in production in December 1996. In December 1995, the expectations were 39.9 %, and 20.3 %, respectively.
