IN MARCH OF 2000 AND EXPECTATION IN APRIL OF
2000

ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, DECREASED FROM 74.1 % IN MARCH OF 1999 TO 73.8 % IN MARCH OF 2000, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 582 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;
A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of
establishments for the present situation in March of 2000,
expectation in April of 2000 about production, domestic sales,
sale and raw material prices.
At the evaluation;
When the weighted average view of the establishments for March of 2000 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production , domestic sales, sale prices and raw material prices decreased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for April of 2000 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production, domestic sales and sale prices and raw material prices will decrease.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 51.8 % and decreasing was 31.8 % in March of 1999, in March of 2000 answer of increasing is 47.5 % and decreasing is 35.7 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 49.9 % and decreasing expectation was 22.4 % in April of 1999, in April of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 42.1 % and decreasing expectation is 24.6 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 61.5 % and decreasing was 24.9 % in March of 1999, in March of 2000 answer of increasing is 62.9 % and decreasing is 16.7 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 61.9 % and decreasing expectation was 9.2 % in April of 1999, in April of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 33.3 % and decreasing expectation is 32.4 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;
While answer of increasing was 67.9 % and decreasing was 1.5 % in March of 1999, in March of 2000, answer of increasing is 61.3 % and decreasing is 1.4 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 64.6 %, decreasing expectation was 0.7 % in April of 1999, in April of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 53.6 % and decreasing expectation is 0.1 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;
While answer of increasing was 66.5 % and decreasing was 1.6 % in March of 1999, in March of 2000, answer of increasing is 71.7 % and there is not decreasing .
While answer of increasing expectation was 60.6 % and decreasing expectation was 1.3 % in April of 1999, in April of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 59.2 % and decreasing expectation is 3.1 %
