EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT PRODUCTION, SALES,  STOCKS  AND PRICES  FOR  THE  REALISATION  IN  JUNE OF  2002 AND EXPECTATION  IN  JULY OF  2002
(Production  -  Sales  -  Prices)

                  ACCORDING     TO    THE    STATEMENT    OF    THE     PRESIDENT    OF    SIS,    RATE   OF CAPACITY   UTILISATION  THAT IS  WEIGHTED  BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM  71.3 % IN JUNE OF 2001 TO 76.3 % IN JUNE OF 2002, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 789  LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

               Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;

                     

             

  A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view  of  establishments for the present situation in June of  2002, expectation in July of  2002 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

 At the evaluation;
       When the weighted average view of the establishments for June  of  2002 compare to  the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production increased, domestic sales decreased, sale  prices  and raw  material prices increased.

      When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for July of 2002 compare to the same month of the previous  year   establishments  have  thought  that  their  production  and  domestic  sales  will  decreased,  sale prices will decreased, raw material  prices will increased.

Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of  increasing was  31.8  % and decreasing was 46.5 %  in  June  of  2001,
in  June of 2002  answer  of  increasing  is  35.4  %  and  decreasing  is  46.1  %.
 
While answer of increasing expectation was 42.2 % and decreasing expectation was 17.4 % in July of 2001,
in July of 2002 answer of increasing expectation is 49.2 % and decreasing expectation is 12.2 %.

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of  increasing was 33.2 % and decreasing was 41.4 % in June of 2001,
in June of 2002 answer  of  increasing  is  29.3  %  and  decreasing  is  52.4  %

While answer of increasing expectation was 45.0 % and decreasing expectation was, 17.2 % in July of 2001,
in July of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is 38.0  % and decreasing expectation is  24.4 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of  increasing was 55.2 % and decreasing was  3.8  %  in June of 2001,
in June of 2002, answer  of  increasing is  61.1  %  and  decreasing  is 1.8  %

While answer of increasing expectation was 53.6  %, decreasing  expectation was 2.8 % in July of 2001,
in July of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is  38.8  %  and decreasing expectation is 3.1 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing  was  63.0 % and decreasing was 4.6 %  in June of 2001,
in June of  2002, answer  of  increasing  is  61.4  %  and  decreasing  is  1.6  %.

While answer of increasing expectation was  43.5 %,  decreasing  expectation  was 0.7  % in July of 2001,
in July of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is 43.0  %  and decreasing expectation is 1.7 %
