ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY
UTILISATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE,
DECREASED FROM
73.9 % IN SEPTEMBER OF 2000 TO 72.8 %
IN SEPTEMBER OF 2001, FROM THE PRIMARILY
PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 704 LARGE
SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison
of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the
previous year is
summarized below;

A general evaluation has done in the written
explanation on the view of establishments for the present
situation in September of 2001, expectation in October of 2001
about production, domestic sales,sale
and raw material prices.
At the evaluation;
When the weighted average view
of the establishments for September of 2001 compare to the same
month of the previous year, establishments have
thought that their production increased, domestic sales
decreased, sale prices and raw material prices increased.
When the weighted average expectation
of the same establishments for October of 2001 compare to
the same month of the previous year establishments have thought that
their production and domestic sales
will decreased, sale prices and raw material prices will
increased.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 50.9 % and decreasing
was 31.8 % in September of 2000, in September
of 2001 answer of increasing is 46.7
% and decreasing is 37.2 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 49.8 % and decreasing
expectation was 11.5 % in Octoberof
2000, in October of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 38.1 %
and decreasing expectation is 27.8 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 53.9 % and decreasing was
26.5 % in September of 2000, in September
of 2001 answer of increasing is 34.8
% and decreasing is 48.2 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 44.0 % and decreasing expectation
was 13.6 % in October of
2000, in October of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 43.3 %
and decreasing expectation is 19.4 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;
While answer of increasing was 59.5 % and decreasing was
3.9 % in September of 2000, in September
of 2001, answer of increasing is 69.8 %
and decreasing is 4.3 %
While answer of increasing expectation
was 36.2 %, decreasing expectation was 11.0 % in October of
2000, in October of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is
48.7 % and decreasing expectation is 1.7 %

While answer of increasing was 58.5 % and decreasing was
2.1 % in September of 2000, in September
of 2001, answer of increasing is 71.8
% and decreasing is 1.6 %.
While answer of increasing expectation was 57.1 %, decreasing
expectation was 1.4 % in October of 2000,
in October of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is
57.3 % and decreasing expectation is 2.0 %
