EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW   OF   THE   ESTABLISHMENTS   IN   MANUFACTURING     INDUSTRY   ABOUT PRODUCTION, SALES, STOCKS AND PRICES FOR THE  RELATION IN JANUARY OF  2000 AND EXPECTATION  IN  FEBRUARY  OF  2000

         ACCORDING   TO  THE  STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF          CAPACITY  UTILIZATION    THAT   IS   WEIGHTED    BY    PRODUCTION   VALUE, INCREASED FROM 71.5 % IN JANUARY OF 1999 TO 72.1 % IN JANUARY OF 2000, FROM    THE    PRIMARILY    PROVISIONAL   RESULT   OF   568   LARGE    SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;


         A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present  situation  in  January of 2000, expectation  in February of 2000 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;
       When  the weighted  average view of the  establishments for January  of  2000 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production , domestic sales, sale prices  increased,  raw material prices decreased.

      When the weighted average  expectation  of  the  same  establishments  for  February  of  2000 compare to the same month of the previous year  establishments  have thought that their production,  domestic sales and  raw material  prices will decreased,  sale prices  will increased.

Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of increasing was  23.1  % and decreasing was 62.3 % in January of 1999, in January of 2000  answer  of  increasing  is  30.7  %  and  decreasing  is  49.7  %
 
While  answer of  increasing expectation was  47.6  % and  decreasing  expectation was  16.0  % in February of 1999, in February of 2000 answer of  increasing expectation  is  53.7 % and decreasing expectation is  17.8 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of increasing was 20.0 % and decreasing was 66.2 % in January of  1999,  in January of 2000 answer  of  increasing  is  33.5  %  and  decreasing  is  53.2 %

While  answer of increasing  expectation  was  62.3  % and  decreasing  expectation was   9.0  % in February of 1999, in  February of 2000 answer of  increasing expectation is 47.3  % and decreasing expectation is  23.5  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of  increasing was 56.3 % and decreasing was  4.9  %  in January of 1999, in January of 2000, answer  of  increasing is  65.6  %  and  decreasing  is  2.8  %

While answer  of  increasing  expectation  was   40.6   %, decreasing   expectation   was   3.3  %  in February of 1999, in February of 2000 answer of increasing expectation  is  68.4  % and decreasing expectation  is  0.1  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing was  69.0 % and decreasing was  7.4 %  in January  of 1999, in January of  2000, answer  of  increasing  is  63.6  %  and  decreasing  is  1.0  %

While answer of increasing expectation was   54.5  %  and  decreasing  expectation  was  1.2  %  in February of 1999, in February of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 57.4  % and  decreasing  expectation  is 0.3 %
