    EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT PRODUCTION, SALES,  STOCKS  AND        PRICES  FOR  THE  RELATION  IN DECEMBER OF  2000 AND EXPECTATION  IN  JANUARY  OF  2001

  ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY   UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM  74.1 % IN DECEMBER OF 1999 TO       74.5  % IN DECEMBER OF 2000, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 561 LARGE SCALE       MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;


 A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in December of  2000, expectation in  January of  2001 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;
   When  the  weighted average view of the establishments for December  of  2000 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production, domestic sales, sale prices and raw material prices decreased.

  When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for January of 2001 compare to  the  same  month of  the  previous  year  establishments  have  thought  that their production will  increase, domestic sales,  sale prices and raw material  prices  will decrease.

Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of  increasing was  43.3  % and decreasing was 38.2 % in December of 1999, in December of 2000  answer  of  increasing  is  26.5  %  and  decreasing  is  57.5  %
 
While answer of increasing expectation was 32.6 %, decreasing expectation was 32.1% in January of 2000,in January of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 37.7 % and decreasing expectation is 27.5 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of  increasing was 42.6 % and decreasing was 40.4 % in December of  1999,  in December of 2000 answer  of  increasing  is  27.9  %  and  decreasing  is  57.4 %

While answer of increasing expectation was 32.1 %, decreasing expectation was 40.9 % in January  of 2000,in January of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 44.0 % and decreasing expectation is 25.1 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of  increasing was 64.1 % and decreasing was  5.0  %  in December of 1999, in December of 2000, answer  of  increasing is  53.3  %  and  decreasing  is  7.2  %

While answer of increasing expectation was 37.8  %, decreasing  expectation was 3.2 % in January of  2000, in January of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 46.4 % and decreasing expectation is 8.9 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing  was  66.4 % and decreasing was 3.4 %  in December of 1999,  in December of  2000, answer  of  increasing  is  45.1  %  and  decreasing  is  20.3  %.

While answer of increasing  expectation was 60.0 %, decreasing expectation was 0.3 % in January of 2000, in January of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is  53.9 % and decreasing expectation  is 1.4 %
