THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN   MANUFACTURING   INDUSTRY   ABOUT   PRODUCTION,  SALES,  STOCKS   AND  PRICES  FOR  THE  RELATION  IN   SEPTEMBER  OF  1999  AND      EXPECTATION   IN   OCTOBER  OF  1999

           ACCORDING  TO  THE STATEMENT  OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILIZATION THAT IS  WEIGHTED  BY  PRODUCTION VALUE, DECREASED FROM   81.8  %  IN  SEPTEMBER  OF 1998 TO 68.4  %  IN  SEPTEMBER  OF 1999, FROM THE PRIMARILY  PROVISIONAL  RESULT  OF  634  LARGE  SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;


        A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in September of 1999, expectation in October of 1999 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;
        When the weighted average view of the establishments for September of 1999 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production decreased, domestic sales, sale prices  and raw material prices increased.

        When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for October of 1999 compare to the same month of the previous year  establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales will decreased, , sale prices and  raw material  prices will increased.

        Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of increasing was 55.7 % and decreasing was 29.4 % in September of 1998, in September of 1999 answer of increasing  is 54.0  % and decreasing  is 32.1  %
 
While answer of increasing expectation was  42.7  % and decreasing expectation was 23.4 % in October of 1998, in October of 1999 answer of increasing expectation  is  42.7 % and decreasing expectation is  20.8 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of increasing was 46.1 % and decreasing was 34.1 % in September  of 1998, in September of 1999 answer of increasing is 61.7  %  and decreasing is 23.0 %

While answer of increasing expectation was 33.7 % and decreasing expectation was 33.8 % in October of 1998, in October of 1999 answer of increasing expectation is 35.3  % and decreasing expectation is  30.2  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of increasing was 59.8 % and decreasing was  4.0 % in September of  1998, in September of 1999, answer of increasing is  72.5  % and decreasing is  1.7  %

While answer  of  increasing  expectation was  47.9  %, decreasing expectation was  2.4 % in October  of 1998, in October of  1999 answer of  increasing expectation is 54.4  % and decreasing expectation is 0.8  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing was 63.9 % and decreasing was 4.8 % in September of  1998, in  September   of 1999, answer of increasing  is  75.3  % and decreasing is  2.0  %

While answer of increasing expectation was  54.1 %  and decreasing expectation was 3.4 % in October of 1998, in October of 1999 answer of increasing expectation  is  67.6  % and decreasing expectation  is 1.7 %.
