EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT PRODUCTION, SALES,  STOCKS  AND PRICES  FOR  THE  RELATION  IN  DECEMBER OF  1999 AND EXPECTATION  IN  JANUARY  OF  2000
(Production  -  Sales  -  Prices)
 

         ACCORDING  TO  THE  STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS,  RATE OF CAPACITY  UTILIZATION   THAT   IS   WEIGHTED   BY   PRODUCTION   VALUE, INCREASED FROM  74.4 % IN DECEMBER OF 1998 TO 75.5 % IN DECEMBER  OF 1999,  FROM  THE  PRIMARILY  PROVISIONAL  RESULT  OF  562  LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;



     A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present  situation  in  December  of  1999,   expectation  in  January of  2000 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;
       When the weighted average view of the establishments for December  of  1999 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production , domestic sales, sale prices   and  raw material prices increased.
         When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments  for  January of  2000 compare  to  the  same   month   of    the  previous  year  establishments  have thought that their production and raw material prices will decreased, domestic sales and sale prices will increased.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of  increasing was  35.1  % and decreasing was 45.4 % in December of 1998, in December of 1999  answer  of  increasing  is  45.6  %  and  decreasing  is  36.7  %
 
While answer of  increasing  expectation was 35.3  % and decreasing expectation was 33.8 % in January of 1999, in January of  2000 answer of increasing expectation is 32.5  % and decreasing expectation is 31.2  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of  increasing was 28.9 % and decreasing was 55.0 % in December of  1998,  in December of 1999  answer  of  increasing  is  46.8  %  and  decreasing  is  33.7 %

While answer of increasing  expectation  was 33.7 % and decreasing expectation was  33.3 % in January  of  1999,in January of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 30.8 % and decreasing expectation is 42.1  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of  increasing was 39.6 % and decreasing was  19.1  %  in December of 1998, in December of 1999  answer  of  increasing is  64.4  %  and  decreasing  is  5.6  %

While answer  of  increasing  expectation  was  42.1  %, decreasing  expectation  was  3.8 %  in January of 1999, in January of 2000  answer of increasing expectation is 35.4  % and decreasing expectation  is  3.8  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing was 51.0 % and decreasing was  18.2 %  in December of 1998, in December of  1999  answer  of  increasing  is  65.2  %  and  decreasing  is  3.9  %

While answer of increasing expectation was  51.0 % and decreasing expectation was 2.8 % in January of 1999,in January of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 58.1  % and  decreasing  expectation  is 0.4 %
