ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT
OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY
UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM
71.5 %
IN NOVEMBER OF 1999 TO 79.8 % IN
NOVEMBER OF 2000, FROM THE PRIMARILY
PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 599 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison
of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the
previous year
is summarized below;
A general evaluation has done in the written
explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation
in November of 2000, expectation
in December of 2000 about production, domestic
sales, sale and raw
material prices.
At the evaluation;
When the weighted average view
of the establishments for November of 2000 compare to the same
month
of the previous year, establishments
have thought that their production, domestic sales,
sale prices and raw
material prices decreased.
When the weighted average
expectation of the same establishments for December of 2000
compare to the
same month of the previous year establishments
have thought that their production, domestic sales, sale prices
and raw material prices will decrease.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 49.1 % and decreasing
was 34.1 % in November of 1999, in November of 2000
answer of increasing is 37.5 %
and decreasing is 42.2 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 45.0 % and decreasing expectation
was 23.6% in December of 1999,
in December of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 31.8 % and
decreasing expectation is 34.9 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 48.1 % and decreasing was 34.7
% in November of 1999, in November of 2000
answer of increasing is 37.8 %
and decreasing is 45.3 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 46.0 % and decreasing expectation
was 18.9 % in December of 1999,
in December of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 33.9 % and
decreasing expectation is 33.9 %

While answer of increasing was 67.2 % and decreasing was
2.4 % in November of 1999, in November of 2000,
answer of increasing is 47.3 % and
decreasing is 19.8 %
While answer of increasing expectation
was 47.0 %, decreasing expectation was 3.6 % in December of
1999,
in December of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 28.4 % and
decreasing expectation is 3.8 %

While answer of increasing was 67.7 % and decreasing was
1.6 % in November of 1999, in November of 2000,
answer of increasing is 44.3 %
and decreasing is 7.3 %.
