EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW   OF   THE   ESTABLISHMENTS    IN   MANUFACTURING   INDUSTRY  ABOUT   PRODUCTION,    SALES,    STOCKS     AND    PRICES     FOR    THE    RELATION    IN  SEPTEMBER OF  2000 AND EXPECTATION  IN  OCTOBER  OF  2000
                                               (Production  -  Sales  -  Prices)

         ACCORDING  TO  THE  STATEMENT  OF  THE  PRESIDENT  OF  SIS,  RATE  OF CAPACITY    UTILIZATION    THAT    IS    WEIGHTED    BY   PRODUCTION   VALUE, INCREASED  FROM   68.8  %  IN   SEPTEMBER  OF  1999  TO 73.3  % IN SEBTEMBER OF  2000, FROM  THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL  RESULT  OF 581 LARGE  SCALE      MANUFACTURING  INDUSTRIAL  ESTABLISHMENTS.
 
    Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;


    A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in September  of  2000, expectation in  October  of  2000 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
 
    At the evaluation;
 
    When the weighted average view of the establishments for September  of  2000 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production increased, domestic sales, sale prices and raw material prices decreased.

    When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for  October of  2000 compare to the same month of the previous year  establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales will increase, sale prices and raw material  prices  will decrease.

Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

    While answer of  increasing was  53.9  % and decreasing was 31.7 % in September of 1999, in September of 2000  answer  of  increasing  is  51.3  %  and  decreasing  is  31.4  %
 
    While answer of increasing expectation was  43.5 % and decreasing expectation was 19.5 % in October of 1999, in October of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 50.5  % and decreasing expectation is 11.1 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

    While answer of  increasing was 61.7 % and decreasing was 23.0 % in September of  1999,  in September of 2000 answer  of  increasing  is  54.7  %  and  decreasing  is  26.2 %

    While answer of increasing expectation was 35.3 % and decreasing expectation was 30.2 % in October of 1999, in October of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 46.5 % and decreasing expectation is 12.2  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

    While answer of  increasing was 70.5 % and decreasing was  1.7  %  in September of 1999, in September of 2000, answer  of  increasing is  64.5  %  and  decreasing  is  3.5  %

    While answer of increasing expectation was 54.1  %, decreasing  expectation was 0.8 % in October of  1999, in October  of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 36.7  % and decreasing expectation is 11.7  %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

    While answer of increasing  was  75.3  % and decreasing was  2.0 %  in September of 1999,  in September of  2000, answer  of  increasing  is  61.1  %  and  decreasing  is  0.4  %.

    While answer of increasing  expectation was 67.6  %, decreasing expectation was 1.7 % in October of  1999, in October of 2000 answer of increasing expectation is 57.2 % and decreasing expectation  is  1.0 %
