EXPLAINED  THE  RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY  WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT  PRODUCTION, SALES,  STOCKS   AND PRICES  FOR  THE  REALISATION  IN  MAY OF  2002 AND  EXPECTATION  IN  JUNE OF  2002

                   ACCORDING    TO     THE     STATEMENT     OF     THE     PRESIDENT    OF   SIS,    RATE   OF  CAPACITY   UTILISATION  THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM  70.4 % IN MAY OF 2001 TO  75.7 %  IN  MAY  OF 2002,  FROM  THE  PRIMARILY  PROVISIONAL  RESULT  OF  774   LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

           Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;

                

       

A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in May of  2002, expectation in June of  2002 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
 

At the evaluation;

        When  the  weighted average  view of  the establishments  for May of  2002  compare to the same month of  the previous year, establishments have thought that their production increased, domestic sales decreased, sale prices and raw material prices decreased.

        When the  weighted  average expectation of  the same establishments for June of 2002 compare to the same month of the previous  year  establishments have  thought  that their production will increased, domestic sales will decreased, sale prices and raw material  prices will decreased.

Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;

While answer of  increasing was  55.4  % and decreasing was 21.9 %  in  May  of  2001,
in  May of 2002  answer  of  increasing  is  63.8  %  and  decreasing  is  19.0  %.

While answer of increasing expectation was 47.5 % and decreasing expectation was 15.9 % in June of 2001,
in June of 2002 answer of increasing expectation is 37.9 % and decreasing expectation is 25.1 %.

Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;

While answer of  increasing was 58.5 % and decreasing was 18.7 % in May of 2001,
in May of 2002 answer  of  increasing  is  64.2  %  and  decreasing  is  14.5  %

While answer of increasing expectation was 46.7 % and decreasing expectation was, 14.7 % in June of 2001,
in June of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is 37.4 % and decreasing expectation is  29.2 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;

While answer of  increasing was 60.7 % and decreasing was  7.0  %  in May of 2001,
in May of 2002, answer  of  increasing is  54.2  %  and  decreasing  is 0.8  %

While answer of increasing expectation was 56.7  %, decreasing  expectation was 3.0 % in June of 2001,
in June of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is  45.2  %  and decreasing expectation is 0.5 %

Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;

While answer of increasing  was  64.3 % and decreasing was 6.3 %  in May of 2001,
in May of  2002, answer  of  increasing  is  49.9  %  and  decreasing  is  0.5  %.

While answer of increasing expectation was  56.6 %,  decreasing  expectation  was 1.2  % in June of 2001,
in June of  2002 answer of increasing expectation is 39.2  %  and decreasing expectation is 0.7 %
