EXPLAINED THE RESULT OF THE MONTHLY TENDENCY SURVEY WHICH REFLECT VIEW OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY ABOUT PRODUCTION, SALES, STOCKS AND PRICES FOR THE REALISATION IN DECEMBER OF 2002 AND EXPECTATION IN JANUARY OF 2003
(Production - Sales - Prices)ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILISATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM 73.3 % IN DECEMBER OF 2001 TO 76.7 % IN DECEMBER OF 2002, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULTS OF 828 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;

A general evaluation has done in the written explanation on the view of establishments for the present situation in December of 2002, expectation in January of 2003 about production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
When the weighted average view of the establishments for December of 2002 compared to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production, domestic sales and raw material prices increased, sale prices decreased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for January of 2003 compared to the same month of the previous year establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales will decrease, sale prices will increase and raw material prices will decrease.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 28,3 % and decreasing was 58,7 % in December of 2001,
in December of 2002 answer of increasing is 33,9 % and decreasing is 44,2 %.While answer of increasing expectation was 32,1 % and decreasing expectation was 34,9 % in January of 2002, in January of 2003 answer of increasing expectation is 23.0 % and decreasing expectation is 25.2 %.
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 23,3 % and decreasing was 57,9 % in December of 2001,
in December of 2002 answer of increasing is 32,3 % and decreasing is 46,3 %.While answer of increasing expectation was 42,1 % and decreasing expectation was 25,3 % in January of 2002,
in January of 2003 answer of increasing expectation is 25,0 % and decreasing expectation is 36,5 %.Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;
While answer of increasing was 49,1 % and decreasing was 8,9 % in December of 2001,
in December of 2002 answer of increasing is 44,2 % and decreasing is 4,5 %.While answer of increasing expectation was 43,8 % and decreasing expectation was 3.7 % in January of 2002,
in January of 2003 answer of increasing expectation is 50,8 % and decreasing expectation is 5,7 %.Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;
While answer of increasing was 40,9 % and decreasing was 23,0 % in December of 2001,
in December of 2002 answer of increasing is 33,4 % and decreasing is 15,9 %.While answer of increasing expectation was 50,2 % and decreasing expectation was 1,8 % in January of 2002,
in January of 2003 answer of increasing expectation is 43,1 % and decreasing expectation is 1,4 %.
