SALES, STOCKS AND PRICES FOR THE REALIZATION
IN JUNE OF 2001 AND EXPECTATION IN JULY OF
2001

ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, DECREASED FROM 76.7 % IN JUNE OF 2000 TO 71.7 % IN JUNE OF 2001, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 678 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same month of the previous year is summarized below;

At the evaluation;
When the weighted average view of the establishments for June of 2001 compare to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production decreased, domestic sales, sale prices and raw material prices increased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for July of 2001 compare to the same month of the previous year establishments have thought that their production will decrease, domestic sales, sale prices and raw material prices will increased.
Percentage distributions of establishments on production are;
While answer of increasing was 47.6 % and decreasing was 35.2 % in June of 2000, in June of 2001 answer of increasing is 31.5 % and decreasing is 46.2 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 45.5 % and decreasing expectation was 17.4 % in July of 2000, in July of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 41.4 % and decreasing expectation is 17.7 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on domestic sales;
While answer of increasing was 48.0 % and decreasing was 32.0 % in June of 2000, in June of 2001 answer of increasing is 30.6 % and decreasing is 43.2 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 45.9 % and decreasing expectation was 16.9 % in July of 2000, in July of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 46.9 % and decreasing expectation is 17.5 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on sale prices;
While answer of increasing was 57.0 % and decreasing was 5.3 % in June of 2000, in June of 2001, answer of increasing is 57.4 % and decreasing is 4.3 %
While answer of increasing expectation was 48.6 %, decreasing expectation was 3.8 % in July of 2000, in July of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 55.7 % and decreasing expectation is 3.1 %
Percentage distributions of establishments on raw material prices;
While answer of increasing was 67.1 % and decreasing was 4.3 % in June of 2000, in June of 2001, answer of increasing is 63.1 % and decreasing is 5.0 %.
While answer of increasing expectation was 51.5 %, decreasing expectation was 5.2 % in July of 2000, in July of 2001 answer of increasing expectation is 40.6 % and decreasing expectation is 0.2 %.
