THE RATE OF CAPACITY UTILISATION THAT IS
WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM 78.3 % IN MARCH
OF 2003 TO 82.3 % IN MARCH OF 2004, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULTS
OF 794 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
When the
reasons of not working in full capacity for March
of 2004 compared to the same month of the
previous year, shortage of demands in domestic market decreased from
67.3
% to 67.2 %, shortage of demands
in foreign market increased from 11.4 % to 16.5
%.
A general evaluation
has been made on the view of establishments for the present situation in
March
of 2004
and expectation in April of 2004 regarding production,
domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
At the evaluation;
When
the weighted average view of the establishments for March of 2004
compared to the same month
of the previous year, establishments have thought that
their production increased, domestic sales and sale
prices decreased, raw material prices increased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for April
of 2004 compared to the
same month of the previous year establishments have thought
that their production, domestic sales, sale prices
and raw material prices will decrease.
