THE  RATE  OF CAPACITY   UTILISATION   THAT  IS  WEIGHTED  BY   PRODUCTION
VALUE,  INCREASED  FROM  71.9 %  IN  FEBRUARY OF  2003  TO 73.4 % IN FEBRUARY  OF
2004,   FROM    THE    PRIMARILY     PROVISIONAL   RESULTS   OF    767    LARGE     SCALE  MANUFACTURING  INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

             When the reasons of not working in full capacity for February of 2003 compared to the same month of the previous year, shortage of demands  in domestic market decreased  from 70.0 % to 69.5 %,  shortage of demands
in foreign market increased from 12.0 %  to  12.7 %.

             A general evaluation has been made on the view of establishments for the present situation in February of
2004 and expectation in March of  2004 regarding production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

At the evaluation;

             When  the  weighted  average  view of the establishments for February of  2004  compared  to  the  same
month  of  the  previous year, establishments have thought  that  their production and  domestic sales increased, sale
prices  will  not change and raw material prices decreased.

             When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for March of 2004 compared  to the
same month of  the previous  year  establishments  have  thought  that  their production will increase,domestic sales,
sale prices and raw material  prices will decrease.
