THE RATE OF CAPACITY UTILISATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM 74.9 % IN JANUARY OF 2003 TO 77.2 % IN JANUARY OF 2004, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULTS OF 681 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
When
the reasons of not working in full capacity for January of 2004 compared
to the same month of
the previous year, shortage of demands in domestic market decreased
from 68.2 % to 67.4 %, shortage of
demands in foreign market increased from 12.0 % to
12.2 %.
A
general evaluation has been made on the view of establishments for
the present situation in January
of 2004 and expectation in February of 2004
regarding production, domestic sales, sale and raw
material
prices.
At the evaluation;
When
the weighted average view of the establishments for January
of 2004 compared to the same
month of the previous year, establishments
have thought that their production increased and
domestic sales
decreased, sale prices and raw material prices decreased.
When the weighted average expectation of the same
establishments for February of 2004 compared
to the same month of the previous year establishments
have thought that their production and domestic
sales
will increase, sale prices and raw material prices will decrease.
