THE RATE OF CAPACITY UTILISATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY
PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM 75.9 % IN APRIL OF 2003 TO
76.4 % IN APRIL OF 2004, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULTS OF
786 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
When
the reasons of not working in full capacity for
April
of 2004 compared to the same month of the
previous year, shortage of demands in domestic
market decreased from 67.6 %
to 53.7 %, shortage of
demands in foreign market increased from 12.3 % to 16.5
%.
A general evaluation has been made
on the view of establishments for the present situation in April of
2004 and expectation in May of
2004 regarding production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.
At the evaluation;
When
the weighted average view of the establishments for April of
2004 compared to the same month
of the previous year, establishments have thought that their
production increased, domestic sales decreased, sale
prices and raw material prices increased.
When
the weighted average expectation of the same stablishments
for May of 2004 compared to
the same month of the previous year establishments
have thought that their production, domestic sales,
sale
prices and raw material prices will decrease.
