            Table 1: Qualitative information on reasons for not working in full capacity for the current month
                           and the same month of the previous year in terms of nine-month average (Jan.-Sept.)

            When the reasons  of not working in full capacity for  September of 2003 compared to the same month
    of the previous year, shortage of demands in domestic market increased from 58,6 %  to 64,5 %, shortage of
    demands in foreign market decreased from 11,5 %  to  16,1 %.

            A general evaluation has been made on the view of establishments for the present situation in September
    of  2003 and expectation in October of  2003 regarding production, domestic sales, sale and raw material prices.

 At the evaluation;

            When the weighted average view of the establishments for September of  2003 compared  to the same month of the previous year, establishments have thought that their production and domestic sales increased, raw material prices and sale prices decreased.

            When the weighted average expectation of the same establishments for October of  2003 compared  to the same month of  the  previous  year   establishments  have  thought  that  their  production will  increase  and domestic  sales  will decrease,   sale prices and raw material  prices will decrease.

           Tablo 2 : The expectations of increase and decrease regarding to the related month with the

                           sales and raw material prices.
