ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, INCREASED FROM 79.4 % IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF 1997 TO 76.5 % IN SECOND QUARTER OF 1998, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 1903 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same quarter of the previous year is summarized below;

in the second quarter of 1997, in the same quarter of 1998, answer of increasing expectation
is 60.7 % and decreasing expectation is 10.9 %
