ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIS, RATE OF CAPACITY UTILIZATION THAT IS WEIGHTED BY PRODUCTION VALUE, DECREASED FROM 77.5 % IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 1998 TO 70.1 % IN FIRST QUARTER OF 1999, FROM THE PRIMARILY PROVISIONAL RESULT OF 1757 LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Comparison of the reasons for not working in full capacity to the same
quarter of the previous year is summarized below;
