ACCORDING TO THE RESULT OF INDEXES OF PRODUCTION WORKERS AND PRODUCTION WORKED HOURS, PRODUCTION WORKERS INCREASED BY 6.3% AND WORKED HOURS INCREASED BY 6.2 % IN THE THIRD QUARTER OF 1997 OVER TO THE SAME QUARTER OF THE PREVIOUS YEAR. THE DATA USED CALCULATING THE INDEXES ARE CONDUCTED FROM ALL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN PUBLIC SECTOR AND THE ESTABLISHMENTS IN PRIVATE SECTOR WHICH REPRESENT 89 % VALUE ADDED OF THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN PRIVATE SECTOR ENGAGED 10 OR MORE EMPLOYEES.
