Non-institutional civilian working age population (15 years old and over) was estimated to be 49 million 250 thousand persons in the fourth quarter of 2003 HLFS with an increase of 882 thousand persons when compared to the results of the same quarter of previous year. 61.7% of the non-institutional civilian working age population was residing in urban areas.
