State   Institute  of  Statistics declared  that mining industry production decreased by 6.4 %, manufacturing industry production decreased by  3.2 %,  electricity, gas and water production did not change  in November of 1999, over to the same period of the previous year.

         The  statement   released   by  SIS,  during   average  of   eleven   months   total    industrial production  decreased  by  6.0  %,  mining  industry  decreased   by  9.0   %   and  manufacturing industry   decreased   by  6.8  % ,  electricity,  gas  and  water  industry  increased  by  4.0  %   in November of 1999.

         Also  SIS explained  production  quantity  of some important goods for November of 1999. Figures of monthly industrial production index taking 1997 as a base year and monthly production quantity of the selected goods.

 

 
NOTE  :-  MONTHLY  INDUSTRIAL  PRODUCTION  INDEX  HAS CALCULATED TO GIVE  INFORMATION IN  A  SHORT  TIME. 403  ITEMS  FROM  918  ESTABLISHMENTS  WHICH  REPRESENT  7 0 %  OF TOTAL INDUSTRIAL   PRODUCTION   VALUE   HAVE  BEEN  USED  TO  CALCULATE   MONTHLY  INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION  INDEX.  APPROXIMATELY  2005  ITEMS  FROM  3000  LARGE SCALE ESTABLISHMENTS WHICH  REPRESENT   81 %   OF   TOTAL   INDUSTRIAL  PRODUCTION  VALUE   HAVE  BEEN  USED  TO CALCULATE  QUARTERLY  INDUSTRIAL  PRODUCT  INDEX. THERE ARE SOME DEFERENCE BETWEEN TWO  INDEXES  BECAUSE  OF  THEIR  COVERAGE. MONTHLY INDEX SHOULD BE  USED AS A SHORT TERM   INDICATORS.   FINAL    RESULT   MUST    BE    TAKEN   FROM   QUARTERLY    INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INDEX.

** Monthly  Industrial Production Index is released on the eighth of the second month following the  reference month.
