In December 1999 6,8% rise in general prices is composed of 3,3% rise in Public Sector and 3,5% rise in Private Sector.

In December 1998 a rise had realised in 1994=100 based Wholesale Price General Indices on month-to-month base with 2,5%, on same month of the previous year with 54,3% and on averages of twelve months with 71,8%.
