The State
Institute of Statistics (SIS) is a technical and scientific institute
which produces publications to fulfill Turkey's
information needs on social, economic, and cultural subjects. The main
function of SIS is to comprehensively determine information needs, collect
and compile data, and finally, to present information to its users according
to the highest international standards.
